HOPE Foundation Scholarships

In 2011, the HOPE Foundation awarded approximately $75,000 to 51 graduates of Darke County high schools. Every effort is made to award at least one scholarship to each school district.

High school seniors who attend a Darke County high school are encouraged to apply for the various scholarships through the HOPE Foundation. You can read about each scholarship in the List of Funds link of this website. The deadline to submit applications is March 31, 2012. Recipients will be announced that spring at each high school’s graduation or awards program. Scholarship money will be disbursed following the student’s first semester in college, providing the student earned at least a 2.75 grade point average. More information is available from the guidance counselors at each high school, or you may call the HOPE Foundation at (937) 548-HOPE.

Several scholarships are also available for students who are out of high school. These scholarships are designated for students studying law, healthcare, business or a technical vocation. Because these scholarships are offered on an irregular schedule, please call the HOPE office before applying: (937) 548-HOPE.
